Ice Walking

The frozen canyons of the Canadian Rocky Mountains have to be seen to be believed. Whether you’re a hard core ice climber or just want a mellow ice walk, the giant cascading waterfalls frozen in luminescent shades of blue that will take your breath away. Strap on a pair of ice cleats, grab some trekking poles and follow your guide along the walls of Johnston Canyon near Banff and Grotto Canyon, just outside Canmore. In Jasper National Park it's Maligne Canyon.
